Cement Floor

I can’t seem to understand
Why she would go
Run off with another man
Letting me know
Would have been nice
Instead she won’t think twice no more

On the cement floor

I could see inside her head
She rolled her eyes
After hearing what I said
No more white lies or deceit
It is time to retreat
Say goodnight

I wiped her slate clean
If you know what I mean
The damage has been done
It’s over and I won
